Sony Masterworks is proud to present the return of Gustavo Santaolalla and Mac Quayle's soundtrack to the highly anticipated 2020 sequel, THE LAST OF US PART II on vinyl.

Set five years after The Last of Us (2013), the game focuses on two playable characters in a post-apocalyptic United States whose lives intertwine: Ellie, who sets out in revenge for a murder, and Abby, a soldier who becomes involved in a conflict between her militia and a religious cult.

Released in 2020, the album's soundtrack spans 28 tracks, covering 77 minutes, the music for THE LAST OF US PART II is striking and emotionally powerful. In the original, the plucky guitar performance by Gustavo Santaolalla almost singlehandedly took the post-apocalyptic horror narrative of the game and grounded it firmly in the western genre. For PART II, with dual revenge narratives and opposing perspectives, the games team brought on an additional composer to bring another sonic soundscape into the mix: Mac Quayle. His synth contributions to the soundtrack to PART II might be the most terrifying, underlining the true physical and psychological horror that players face.

This strictly limited vinyl release features key art from the original game release and is pressed on 2x 180 Gram Black Vinyl.
